The Super Slow Way is shaping the UK’s longest linear park across a 20 mile stretch of the Leeds & Liverpool canal in East Lancashire with the communities that live and work alongside it as a unique new space for us all to use and share.
Alongside partners, we have been developing new community spaces along the canal stretch for people to come together, get to know one another and enjoy a range of activities. From 2022-2024 we worked with Canalside Activity Centre to run a range of free workshops and activities including canoeing, archery, creative workshops, growing and cooking along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
