Join us for the final event of the DRIFT Blackburn Pop-Up: An audio installation featuring Caelen Salmon, Ian H, Liz and Scott Robertson, Matt Hill, Paul Nataraj, Rob St John, Tom Washington, and contemporary dancer Matthew Rawcliffe.
Following the launch a programme of activity will take place Monday 28th-Friday 2nd May with artists each having a days residency in the gallery to further showcase their work.

Tuesday 29th April, 11-3pm – 21st Century Protest Songs, Matt Hill
What are the songs that saved your life? The songs that say how you feel? The songs that speak to your heart? Come and meet songwriter Matt Hill and help us compile a killer playlist of your songs that matter. Matt will also be writing a song, taking ideas and contributions from visitors to the gallery.
Throughout the day, Matt will play live, with a focus on ‘message songs’ including some of the 21st century protest songs created in Blackburn last year.

Join us on the closing day of DRIFT Celebration & Audio Exhibition to hear DJ Set from Audio Hooligan, live music from Ian H of band Bradford and more. Bring along a song, poem or spoken word piece to perform, or just come to listen!
