You’re invited to join us to celebrate the unveiling of three new public murals in Accrington town centre, commissioned by Hyndburn Borough Council, Super Slow Way and Uncultured Creatives. More than just works of art, these murals reflect the town’s rich heritage, creativity, and the people who make Accrington unique.
Each mural has been created through collaboration between artists and the local community, ensuring that the stories behind them are authentic and meaningful.
The parade will begin at the Peel Memorial Seating Area, where the pipe band will start their performance. At the end of the event, attendees will receive a commemorative postcard featuring one of the 3 murals.
