Join us and build a Pop-Up Pontoon Bridge with Flimsy Works at Audley Community Park on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th August from 10am-4pm!
Unleash your inner architect in a hands-on two day workshop with architectural practice, Flimsy Works, to co-design and create a pop-up bridge spanning the Leeds & Liverpool Canal between our Audley Community Park site and the towpath on the other side.
These FREE workshops for Blackburn residents run from 10am-4pm each day, include lunch, and are open to 13-18 year olds. Places must be booked! Contact ben@superslowway.org.uk for more information or to reserve your place.
Flimsy Works is an architecture practice that uses design and construction to connect communities to the natural environment.
Participants can park for free in St Paul’s Church carpark. Please note that free parking is NOT available in Jans Conference Centre car park.
Please enter the site through the woodland entrance on the main road (Higher Audley St).
