Come and join us and artist Ian Halawi at the Exbury Egg to explore the delicate world of wildflowers through cross stitch.
In this workshop you will create a small abstract embroidery with artist Ian Halawi inspired, by the colours of wildflowers and cotton shuttles. Each embroidered piece will then be used and added to a larger textile art piece that explores the nature of heritage later in the year. Each cross stitch is made up of 127 stitches representing the 127 miles of the Leeds Liverpool canal!
Only 6 spaces available, this is a free activity for Burnley residents. Please email ruth@superslowway.org.uk to book your space!
