Calling all budding gardeners and plant enthusiasts!
In June 2025, artist Stephen Turner celebrated the Summer Solstice with the local community at the Exbury Egg by creating an outline of the Egg’s shadow at noon. This outline has become the boundary of a permanent physic garden. Plants and herbs added to the garden will become the focus for future solstice and equinox events and we would love for you to get involved.
Join Artist and Horticulturalist Ian Halawi at these friendly and relaxed sessions to maintain the garden and participate in horticulture themed creative activities. We also welcome your ideas and knowledge on which medicinal plants and herbs should be included.
The next session will take place on Thursday 11th June from 1-4pm, then fortnightly on Thursdays.

Brews and biscuits are provided but feel free to bring a packed lunch if you are staying for the full session! There is also a pub serving food onsite.
