Join artist Ian Halawi for a series of creative canalside walks where we’ll be exploring the blue and green spaces along the Leeds Liverpool Canal. We’ll identify and map what you see, from heritage buildings to wildlife, factories to flora and hear your stories about what the linear landscape means to you.
In September we walk from Blackburn Town Centre to Audley Community Park, a green oasis on the outskirts of town.
Walks will typically be a gentle stroll of approximately 2 miles. Light refreshments will be provided.
This is a FREE activity and all are welcome – please wear comfortable footwear and a waterproof if it’s wet! If the weather is torrential please check our Facebook for updates.
