The Super Slow Way is shaping the UK’s longest linear park across a 20 mile stretch of the Leeds & Liverpool canal in East Lancashire with the communities that live and work alongside it as a unique new space for us all to use and share.
Alongside partners, we are developing new community spaces along the canal stretch for people to come together, get to know one another and enjoy a range of activities. Over the coming months we will be running a range of free workshops and activities including canoeing, archery, creative workshops, growing and cooking along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
One of the sites we’re currently using in Blackburn, this space is based at Canalside Activity Centre, on the canal in Mill Hill at the end of Bonsall St, Blackburn BB2 4DD
All activities are free for Blackburn residents and all are welcome!
