Making The Slow Way Super!

A new Super Slow Way project funded by Historic England

Do you have a much loved but underused building or space in your neighbourhood?

We want to help communities take over and take care of such places along the Super Slow Way stretch of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal in East Lancashire.

We are offering a range of FREE activities to build a network of people who want to learn how to!

Please email paul@superslowway.org.uk for more information.

You can get involved with this project by taking part in one or all of the following  activities and workshops, click the activity links for more information:

Monthly Walk & Talk conversations with local people will create and grow ‘The Super Slow Way Map’

Monthly ‘Inspire Me’ online discussions with exemplar projects from across the country and beyond and site visits (must sign up via eventbrite)

A training programme, including a residential offer, to develop the skills of local people to take stewardship of their special places (coming soon)

An online resource to capture the knowledge and learning shared throughout the programme (coming soon)
