We are super excited to launch our new project in Thompson Park, Burnley, in collaboration with Burnley Leisure Services, Thompson Park and Blaze. If you are age 16 – 25 and want to make a difference to YOUR park, then this is for you.
The project is open to anyone age 16 – 25 who wants to help make a difference in Thompson Park and the local area. As part of this project you will:
- Get to work with artists and designers
- Produce a show-stopping light finale piece celebrating Burnley in February.
- Get involved with the Burnley Light Parade
- Go on trips to see spectacular art productions around the country.
Your work will help shape the future of Thompson Park and the activities that happen there. As a group, you will decide what you want to focus on and raise awareness for. It’s then up to you to get people listening!
The details:
Snacks and drinks will be provided at every session. We can also reimburse your travel to and from the park, if you bring us your ticket receipts.
When? Thursday evenings, from 4:00pm – 6:30pm. First session 11th October 2018
