Open call for Pendle residents to run food, growing and planting or creative workshops.
The ‘Ripple Effect’ is a new project that aims to create community spaces along the canal stretch through Nelson for people to come together, get to know one another and enjoy different activities. From these spaces we will run a range of activities including canoeing and cycling, led walks, eating, growing, planting and creative workshops.
We’re now looking for local people, or those with a close link to Pendle to help facilitate two areas of activity, a programme of food, growing and planting activity, and a programme of creative workshops.
Whether you’re a self-taught or a professional artist, a brilliant home cook or budding pop-up food vendor, a forager, musician, or potter, we’d like to hear your ideas!
